aiEndoscopic wins Swiss Innovation Challenge

The Startup aiEndoscopic was selected among 100 innovation projects to win the Swiss Innovation Challenge 2022. Congratulations to the founding team Dave Gage, Peter Biro and Philippe Ganz.

aiEndoscopic combines artificial intelligence with robotics to enable assistive or even autonomous endoscopy. They aim for the best patient outcomes and treatment success independent of human performance and skills. Their first application is an all-in-one solution for tracheal intubation and is called intuBot. The company is a spin-off from the university project “REALITI” held between UZH, ETH and Universitätsspital Zürich. Dave Gage was supported to drive this project forward by a MedTech Entrepreneur Fellowship at UZH in 2019-2020.

The Swiss Innovation Challenge is an innovation funding program with competition, in which 25 finalists and one winner ("Award Winner") are selected from over 100 innovation projects within the framework of three elimination rounds ("pitches"). The participants in the competition are SMEs and start-ups from all over Switzerland.

Congratulations to Dave Gage and his team!
