INNOVATOR MORNINGS - Successful launch of a new event series

News

As part of the UZH Entrepreneur Fellowships and the UZH Innovation Grants programs, the UZH Innovation Office has launched a brand new event series "Innovator Mornings". The first event took place on June 8 at the Blue Lion Coworking Space.

The new event series aims to foster exchange among the UZH Innovation Community. Entrepreneur Fellows, Innovation Grant recipients, coaches and representatives from various UZH internal support units were invited.

The program included an inspiring presentation by Melanie Baumgartner, founder of e.rupt and Innovation Grant recipient. Melanie's startup uses scientific findings to revolutionize the mental health field. The app is designed to treat erectile dysfunction.

In the next part, the new Entrepreneur Fellows, Simon Grüning, Jelena Skorucak and Andreas Dzung were welcomed to the community. Finally, there was a stimulating interview with Kevin Kleber from SUIND, a UZH startup that aims to exploit the full potential of drones to improve the efficiency and sustainability in agriculture.

The presentations stimulated a lively Q&A session on fundraising and gamification of services. Guests were able to share their questions, ideas and new contacts during the networking lunch that followed on the rooftop terrace.

The next Innovator Mornings event is expected to take place in the fall of 2023.
