09.07.2019Economic Region of Zurich is European Champion in Innovation

Zurich is the most innovative region in Europe according to the 9th «Regionale Innovationsanzeiger (RIS)» of the European Commission. After 2011 and 2017, the region of Zurich takes the lead as the European Champion in Innovation. The RIS measures the innovative strength of 238 regions in 23 EU-countries, as well as in Norway, Serbia, and Switzerland, according to 17 innovation indicators.
