Theresa Schachner

theresa

Theresa began her entrepreneurial career when she joined Entrepreneur First in London in 2015 to start her first company. She successfully integrated the hardware biotech company into the Imperial College startup incubator.

During her time at the MTEC (Management, Technology, and Economics) Department at ETH Zurich, she worked in a research group focusing on digital healthcare, the CDHI (Centre for Digital Health Applications), which has a strong entrepreneurial DNA. Together with four colleagues, Theresa co-founded the angel syndicate Transalpine Ventures, which invests in very early-stage tech companies across industries in the DACH region.

Theresa is also the founder of Chojuu, an ETH spin-off. It operated in the B2B space by digitizing and personalizing breathing training to increase workplace productivity. In her role as CEO & Co-Founder, she was, among others, steering the team setup, the complete angel fundraising, the strategic direction of the company, and the acquisition of clients. Theresa successfully exited the company by selling it at the end of 2022.
