Andreia Fernandes

Andreia is the founder of SEABRAND International, which offers consulting on strategy, leadership and marketing related topics as well as international collaboration and teambuilding. With 20+ years of experience in marketing and strategy, she has worked in many different fields and projects: global product management, marketing strategy, go-to-market strategies and corporate marketing for start-ups and global events.

With her extensive experience as consultant, lecturer, investor and board member she also coaches executives and advises entrepreneurial teams. Andreia holds an MBA from the University of St. Gallen, as well as from the ESADE Barcelona.

Entrepreneurial experience

Andreia made first-hand experience when founding her sustainable fashion label Sexy Little Bag in 2015. She has experience from a wide range of perspectives, being an investor in start-ups and a coach as well as advisory board member.

She enjoys supporting around business models and analyzing markets as well as consumers – but just as much likes the strategic challenges that come up in startups, such as creating a sustainable team culture and hiring the right people.
 

Failure is data. Failure is learning. She has also researched about what it needs to be resilient with entrepreneurial failure and published a chapter on this in 2018 in the book “Psychology of Entrepreneurship” by Springer Verlag (in German).
