Founded in 2020, cobot solutions AG develops integrated and standalone solutions for automation in industry, laboratories, and life science making processes more efficient, safer, and more reliable. The company is also a distributor in Switzerland for robotics equipment, incl. Doosan Robotics, OnRobot, and other high-performance manufacturers.
Collaborative Robots enable direct Human-Machine Collaboration without the physical separation that industrial robots require for safety reasons. This is made possible by sensors in the robot that detect collisions, sensors outside the robot that detect people nearby as well as intelligent programming. The State-of-the-Art robots can move with a repetitive accuracy of up to +/- 0.03mm making them prone to support humans in high-precision as well as safety-relevant tasks, potentially even medical applications in the future.
