Walter Rudolf Hess

The Mechanism of the Interbrain

Walter Rudolf Hess’ basic research has been applied in therapeutic innovations in medicine. Amongst other things, he created a cartography of the interbrain and explored its functions, which lead to a better general understanding of the phenomenon of sleep.
