The Digital Entrepreneurship Grants is an early stage funding support for innovative ideas of students, researchers and staff at UZH with a strong motivation to drive digital innovations.
The Entrepreneurship Grants supports innovative ideas that originate in research, studies and life at UZH and that will have an impact for society in the digital age. It can be used to remove road blockers for a project and make it fit for further funding.
What the grants can support
The grants can be used for the validation of a product idea, the development of a first prototype or to support work to shape the business model and find the right market fit. The proposed project must be based on a novel idea and contain a feasible project plan.
The grants amount to CHF 10’000 and are given for a period of max 5 months.
Successful applicants will be supported by a dedicated business coach throughout the project period.

Applications for the Entrepreneurship Grants can be submitted twice a year. You need to submit a description of your project, a 3 min video pitch and your CV.
